Description Annie Sloan Traditional Gold Metallic Paint is a water-based paint that creates a lustrous metallic finish. It is ideal for adding decorative detailing to your chalk paint projects. This easy-to-use, water-based gold paint can be used on furniture and walls and has a lustrous, radiant, satin-sheen finish. The paint can be layered to create different finishes. One thin coat will give a translucent shimmer, whilst two coats will provide a stunning opaque effect. Annie Sloan Traditional Gold Metallic Paint is a warm, antique gold inspired by some of the most iconic interiors in the world. It is a muted, aged gold which evokes a sense of history and a touch of vintage charm. How to use Annie Sloan Traditional Gold Metallic Paint Stir well before use. Always do a patch test on several areas before using. Surfaces must be dry and dust-free before applying. Make sure Chalk Paint is fully dry before applying over the top. Apply Annie Sloan Traditional Gold Metallic Paint using an Annie Sloan Flat Brush or Small Sponge Roller or detail brushes for best results. Apply one coat for a translucent finish, or two to achieve a lustrous opaque shine. When applying a second coat, allow 3-4 hours for the first coat to fully dry. Annie Sloan Metallic Paints are not suitable for exterior use. There is no need to apply Chalk Paint Wax or Lacquer over the top of Annie Sloan Metallic Paints to seal. Like Annie Sloan Satin Paint or Annie Sloan Wall Paint, Metallic Paints have inbuilt protection. However, if you are using Metallic Paints on especially high-traffic areas or you notice that the paint is wearing, we recommend reapplying and finishing with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Lacquer for added durability. Clean brushes and rollers with warm soapy water immediately after use. To maintain your finish, clean with a damp cloth using mild detergents. Reapply as and when necessary.
