Wilbur Smith (1974) ‘Eagle in the Sky‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by William Heinemann. Signed and beautifully inscribed by the author on the title page around the time of publication: “For David, with gratitude for all your invaluable assistance. Very sincerely, Wilbur. 19th March 1974”. Provenance: David was a pilot in the South African airforce and flew mirage jets. He gave Wilbur technical advice for the book. Condition: near fine with just a little foxing to the top page block. Otherwise a lovely copy in a beautiful dust jacket which is NOT price clipped, protected in removable mylar.
