As a result, your work can be lacquered or further treated without degreasing.How to UsePrepare the containerFirst, peel back about 1/2” of the plastic container. Do not remove the entire cover, since that helps preserve the compound.Apply to the wheelNext, use a loose muslin or sewn mop to apply the product if you want to keep a compound-headed wheel resilient. For harder polishing wheels, apply the “start and stop” method. Hold the bar firmly against the clean surface of the revolving mop. Then, turn off the power as you apply pressure. This step allows the compound to melt and flow onto the wheel’s surface.Set the coatingAfter application, switch the polishing spindle on and off. Consequently, the buff rotates at a reduced speed until the sizing coat no longer feels sticky. Drying usually takes about two minutes. If necessary, repeat the process to create a heavier coat.Light coating optionFinally, if you only need a light coating, apply the compound by frictional transfer in the usual way. This method keeps the wheel resilient while still delivering a clean, even finish.
